How to check whether Ad-Sweeper installed successfully?
First launch the IE browser, if Ad-Sweeper auto run with IE startup when you open your IE browser,it shows that it's installed sucessfully.

How to show the main window of Ad-Sweeper?
Right-click at the icon of Ad-Sweeper in system tray area, then choose "Show" menu item.

How to pause/continue Ad-Sweeper?
Single-click its icon in the system tray to switch the working mode of it.

What's the diffrence of the Lower Mode,Normal Mode and Strict Mode?

  • Lower Mode:
    It will block most annoying popup ads,but it seldom did not block some exceptional popups, for the reason to avoid wrongly blocking normal popup windows.
  • Normal Mode(Recommended):
    By default,Ad-Sweeper will block any pop-up ads,but never block the popup generated by your clicking the links.This mode is the best choice for most users,we recommend you to choose this mode for common use.
  • Strict Mode:
    Ad-Sweeper will block any pop-up windows,but may include normal pop-up windows(not ads) generated by your clicking,maybe some of the popup windows are normal and useful for you sometimes,in that case,you can press Ctrl when you click the links to open a new window.

    Anyhow no matter what Mode,you can press Ctrl or Shift to disable Ad-Sweeper at any tome so that you can open a new window when you click the links.

    What's the White List?
    Ad-Sweeper will not block any popup windows when you visit the websites which are in the White List.

    How to install and uninstall Ad-Sweeper 1.2?
  • Install: Before you install Ad-Sweeper 1.2,you must first uninstall the previous version 1.0,then Ad-Sweeper 1.2 will work well.
  • Uninstall:Before you uninstall it,you must first close all the opened IE window and Explorer folders,then select the Uninstall Ad-Sweeper from the Start Menu.

    Can not Block any ad windows, can not auto launch with IE startup, or have any problem?
    These problems will not appear commonly, if they did, please first reboot you computer, then try to launch Ad-Sweeper again.If can not auto fixed, please uninstall it and reinstall it, then all will be OK.

    I have entered the registration code, but it still show warning that trial times expired - Why?

    You must have entered a wrong registration code.You can solve this problem by re-launching Ad-Sweeper, and type the registration code again. When registered successfully, the "BuyNow" and "Register" buttons will disappear from Ad-Sweeper's main body,and the caption of it will be changed too. If they do not, the code has not been entered correctly. Please try again.
